Privacy at nuvuro

nuvuro exists to help you plan your degree. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect, why we use it, and what we never do with it.

What nuvuro collects

Account and profile information (your name and email from sign-in, plus the profile you build in nuvuro).
Your school, major, minor, and planning settings (like target credits and schedule preferences).
Completed courses or transcript-derived course information, if you choose to add or upload it.
Saved schedules and planning preferences you create in the app.
Support messages, feedback, and correction reports you choose to send us.
Basic technical and log data needed to run, debug, and protect the service.

Why nuvuro uses that data

Showing your degree progress and what is still needed (planning view only).
Recommending next courses that fit your remaining requirements.
Generating and ranking schedule options around your preferences.
Keeping your saved schedules and plans available to you.
Responding to your support, feedback, and correction reports.
Keeping the service safe, reliable, and secure.

What nuvuro does not do

We do not sell your student planning data.
We do not enroll you in courses or register you for anything.
We do not change your official university records.
We do not claim DegreeWorks, registrar, or university approval of anything shown in nuvuro.

Your choices and requests

You control what you add to nuvuro: completed courses, transcript text, preferences, and saved schedules are all optional. To ask about your data, request a copy, or ask us to delete your account data, use the reporting options available after signing in to your nuvuro profile. These requests are handled by a person today, not an automated flow, and we will respond as quickly as we can.
